Rabbi Braun
Rabbi Nasanayl Braun was educated at Yeshiva University, receiving a BA in Economics in 1996, a Masters in Jewish Education in 2003, and Rabbinic Ordination in 2000.
He is also an alumnus of Yeshivat Har Etzion (1992-1994).
After completing Semicha Rabbi Braun served as a Rabbi at Lincoln Square Synagogue in Manhattan for 6 years. He also served as Program Director at the Council of Orthodox Jewish Congregations, taught Jewish Studies to Junior High School students at Manhattan Day School, and has served as an adult education teacher in Capetown, South Africa.
Rabbi Braun has served as the Senior Rabbi at Congregation Brothers of Israel in Long Branch since 2005. In addition to his responsibilities at the shul, he is a member of the local Vaad Hakashruth, the Jersey Shore Orthodox Rabbinate (JSOR).
Rabbi Braun is married to Tamar, nee Wadler. They have six children: twins Avi (Brocha) and Tova, Ariel, Eitan and twins Talia and Shai.
Has served on the executive committee of the Rabbinical Council of America.
